Identity Theft Package
Our combination of three powerful identity theft services gives you and any covered dependents protection to
help detect identity fraud before it actually occurs, services to help you restore your identity if it is stolen and
insurance coverage to help you with any costs associated with restoring your identity as a result of
identity fraud.
Identity Monitoring
Through Identity Monitoring, activities associated with a person’s identity are monitored across multiple data sources to detect the type of fraudulent activity that takes place prior to the theft of any individual’s identity.
Monitored data sources include:
- Credit Bureau Data
- DMV Records
- Bankruptcy Lien and Judgment Filings
- Utility Records
- Public Records
- Private Contributory Databases
As identity fraud usually precedes identity theft, this type of proactive alert system is critical to mitigating the extensive and expensive damages perpetrated after an identity is stolen and manipulated.
Identity Theft Resolution Program
Identity Theft is a rapidly growing crime that can happen to you any time and any place, resulting in extensive damages that are very expensive and difficult to repair on your own. If you are an HCCUA Member and discover that you or a covered dependent are a victim of this crime; you have the peace of mind of knowing that there are ID Theft Specialists who treat every Identify Theft as an emergency and are always prepared to help you when you need it.

- Prepare and overnight a customized, pre-completed state specific “ID Recovery Kit™”
- Contact all three credit reporting agencies and obtain a free credit report

- Notify local authorities of the incident and help you obtain necessary reports
- Notify the appropriate bank or agency if other forms of identification (such as an ATM card, driver’s license, social security card, or passport) were stolen or are missing, so that appropriate action can be taken and new forms issued
If your credit cards are misplaced or stolen, qualified paralegals will:
- Contact each credit card company while you are on the phone
- Cancel your affected credit cards
